Hi, I'm Shawna!

I have lived in Maine my whole life and I love animals and all things nature. Animals, especially dogs and cats, have always been my passion for as long as I can remember and I have dedicated my life to their care. I love learning about them in all fields and am always looking for ways to impove the lives of the pets in my care. I currently share my home with 13 rescue animals. 8 dogs, 3 cats and 2 chinchillas and my world absolutely revolves around them. I have worked in the dog daycare field for over 10 years so far with another 5 years specializing in dog and cat nutrition, and have earned several certifications in both fields. I look forward to continuing growing my knowledge and experience in the animal care field and enriching the lives of as many animals as I can along the way.

My name is Courtney, and some of you will remember me when I worked at Renaissance a few years ago.

I am excited to be coming back and can't wait to help Uncommon Dog grow to what I know it can be. For those who don't know me, I have worked in the animal field for 8+ years. Most of those years were in the daycare setting, while the rest has been in animal nutrition. As for my own crew, we currently have two dogs (Raven and Phoenix), one chinchilla (Tobin), one bearded dragon (Smeagol), and two snakes (Ekans and Asmodeus). I look forward to meeting and caring for your fur babies.
